- I have completed a short term postgraduate Course in ‘Mountain Environment and Global Change’ from the University of Torino, Italy in 2008 under the International Programme on Research and Training on Sustainable Management of Mountain Areas (IPROMO), an initiative jointly managed by Faculty of Agriculture, University of Torino, FAO and UNESCO. I also have a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2005. During my graduate studies here in Nepal, I studied Environmental Pollution, Earth Hazard, Resource Conservation and management, Geology, Hydrology, Meterology and Climatology, Wildlife Management etc.
I have more than four years of working experience in integrated watershed management, disaster risk reduction. I have been developing a coherent understanding of climate change in my work and initiated climate vulnerability and capacity analysis and community based adaptation plan. So, I would like to know more on community adaptation.
