I AM DRIVEN BY AN INTENSE DESIRE TO FACILITATE EMPOWERMENT AMONG COMMUNITIES HITHERTO DISREGARDED AND FACED WITH ENORMOUS CHALLENGES. I BELIEVE IN THE BOTTOM - UP APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT. A PEOPLE SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE PROCESS LEADING TO THEIR MUCH NEEDED CHANGE: THERE SHOULD BE ROOM FOR THEM TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR AGENCY
