Convincing community members of simple solutions to stormwater runoff and sedimentation

Hi,After careful research, one of the ways we found to reduce sedimentation and control stormwater runoff is to plant velvier grass, which not only takes up water, but also filters it. The most difficult part of our project idea is convincing the Cane Garden Bay community that an expensive fix is not always necessary to reduce sedimentation and stormwater runoff and a simple solution such as the planting of velvier grass along the edges of roads for example can do the trick. I am an ambitious young lady who believes in equality. I am also a member a the Caribbean Youth Environmental Network (CYEN). In a nutshell, CYEN is a non- profit organization that strives to better lives of youths within the caribbean region via enhancing the environment.
