Dear all,

About 80% of female students in Delta State, Nigeria have at one time or another been harassed by their lecturers and male counterparts, it has become a trend and almost become an acceptable behavior, there are no laws or punishment to the offenders, those that are bold to report are victimized and not offered any form of help.
Deltawomen (ngo) recently sent an open letter to the Government and ministry of Education, petitioning them put an end to this despicable behavior and trend currently occurring in our higher educational institutions.

Deltawomen. is designing a project to create awareness programs and counseling thereby breaking the culture of silence. Also offer help and assistance to victims.

Any advice or pointers would be highly appreciated.
