Guru Arjan Dev Institute of Development Studies( IDSAsr), Amritsar has planned to organize its 4th IDSAsr International Seminar on the theme :

The Water Energy and Food Security

sometimes in the month of November 2012. Copy of the concept note prepared is attached herewith for your ready reference. Three seminars has already been organized since the inception of the institute, that is, July 2009.

1. Food Security and Sustainability in India in November 2009

2. Management of Natural Resources and Environment in India in October 2010

3. Water Security and Climate Change: Challenges and Strategies in November 2011

The contribution of all the players in the field is very necessary for the success of the seminar.

Keeping in view the vast expertize in the field of your organization as well as yours, it will be highly appreciated if you please deliver a key note address on the theme of the seminar. You are also requested to depute some researchers from your organization to contribute a research paper and participator in the seminar.
